We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Primary Cover Supervisor to join a friendly and dynamic school in Harrow. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of classroom management who enjoy working in a primary school setting. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes across all primary year groups in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Provide support to individual students or small groups to assist their learning when required. Manage classroom behavior effectively, following the school’s policies and procedures. Offer feedback to teaching staff on student participation and engagement during cover lessons. Support the wider school community by assisting with additional duties such as playground supervision or school events. Requirements: Previous experience working in a primary school setting (e.g., as a teaching assistant, cover supervisor, or in a similar role). Strong understanding of classroom management and the ability to engage with young learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff. A proactive, flexible, and organized approach to supporting learning.
