Job Purpose:
As an energetic Business Development Manager (SDM) you will be responsible for driving engagement and developing strategic relationships with with General Practitioners (GPs), international referral routes and corporate entities, including private schools, embassies and similar organisations. The role plays a crucial part in supporting Priory’s goal of being a leader and provider of choice in the private healthcare market, and enabling easy access to a larger group of prospective patients; both domestic and internationally-based.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving engagement with:
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and generating leads with Private General Practitioners (GPs) to promote referrals to Priory services
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering repeat business
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to drive business development initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
5. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
6. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth to develop strategic relationships with international referrers, corporate entities, including private schools, embassies and similar organisations
Experience:
The role will work collaboratively with Private Hospital Directors and Wellbeing Centre Manager and Priory’s Service Development team to identify forums and events that Priory can be a part of to support ongoing growth in the evolving private mental health and addictions healthcare marketplace.
7. Experience engaging with GPs, corporate entities, or international partners.
8. Experience of working with a range of stakeholders, delivering both transactional and consultative sales in order to sell existing services, but also to have the initiative and confidence to explore and develop new opportunities.
9. Ability to influence at a senior level to all elements of the customer base as well as internal senior stakeholders
10. Able to articulate clearly and succinctly in high pressure and challenging situations with demonstrable experience of delivering and evaluating communications activities.
11. Using excellent communication skills, attention to detail and first class customer service skills you will help colleagues to seek continuous improvements for patients to access the treatment support needed using your passion for learning and growth.
