Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team in Salisbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a variety of client facilities to the highest standards.
About the Role
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will perform routine electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of facilities. This will include troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring all electrical systems adhere to health and safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on client facilities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
* Ensure electrical systems comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including parts used and time spent.
* Liaise with clients to minimize disruption during maintenance activities.
* Provide emergency on-call support as required.
Requirements
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance in a facilities environment.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including HVAC, lighting, and power distribution.
* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Full UK driving license.
