We're looking for a Team Lead for our Client Devices team at Conquest Hospital. The post holder will have line management responsibility for the team and will facilitate the provision of second-line PC support, oversee peripheral installations and maintain operational procedures.
They will also handle complex support calls and guide the team in effectively managing the ticket queue, collaborating with our other teams to manage job allocations, advise on user requirements and provide updates on progress.
The post holder will work closely with their counterpart at Eastbourne DGH to provide cover and ensure that the two teams work together to provide a professional, efficient and high-quality service to colleagues across the Trust.
The role also includes the management of the digital asset function within the Trust, overseeing the entire lifecycle of hardware and software.
We're looking for someone who has worked in an IT support environment for a minimum of two years with a working knowledge of Windows, an understanding of Local and Wide Area Networks and who is familiar with Microsoft Active Directory environments.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of providing line management support to junior colleagues, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to translate complex technical information so it can be understood by both technical and non-technical colleagues. They'll also be confident working with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and work proactively to seek solutions, managing their own workload and changing priorities to often tight deadlines.
