In a nutshell As a Solution Analyst at Virgin Atlantic Ltd, you will have the unique opportunity to join our Technology team and have a supported development plan to facilitate growth into a Solution Architect. The Solution Analyst will be accountable for the successful delivery of less complex solution architectures as well as helping drive solutions toward the enterprise technology strategy. They will work closely with the Solution Architects and Enterprise Domain Architects to ensure business outcomes are achieved, as well as feeding back into the overall Enterprise Architecture to ensure progress towards the target state. Day to day Provide Solution Designs in line with domain and enterprise architectures Technical Capability Assessment - Reviewing existing technical capabilities, promoting reuse, or identifying new capabilities Technical Requirements Engineering - Ensuring all non-functionals are considered Procurement Support - Contributing to the selection of fit for purpose solutions Knowledge of the Technical Strategy and embedding the technical strategy guardrails into the solutions. Understanding of the Risk and Cost of solutions developed. Promote Guardrail Adherence Ensure Architecture Governance is followed for solutions they own About you Computing Degree or equivalent experience in a Technology function, including work placement Previous work experience in technical development roles including cloud. Knowledge of design practices Basic knowledge of solution architecture Travel or Airline knowledge useful but not essential Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with individuals within and outside the organisation Proven evidence of building internal and external relationships Ability to handle multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment High level of computer literacy in Microsoft products (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Does this sound like you?
