SENIOR IN-HOUSE INSURANCE & REGULATORY
Leeds, Manchester, London or Bristol (With Hybrid Working)
Highly Competitive Salary Package & Bonus
On behalf of our client, a major international household name, we are keen to speak to experienced solicitors about the opportunity to advise the business and its clients on specialist non-contentious insurance and regulatory matters.
The Role
As a senior lawyer, you will provide legal risk management and strategic advice in relation to insurance and regulatory matters affecting this FCA-regulated organisation.
Supporting the UK business as a whole, you will be advising on the provision of client services, digital initiatives, new product development, distribution agreements, and regulatory compliance projects. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing legal and regulatory frameworks, policies and processes.
As an in-house lawyer, you will also be working on a great variety of interesting BAU matters; accordingly, the business is looking for a lawyer who doesn’t shy away from getting involved in whatever comes their way.
With new projects launching in 2025, this is a particularly exciting time to be joining the team.
The Ideal Candidate
A lawyer with upwards of 5 years’ PQE in non-contentious insurance and/or financial regulatory experience gained either in private practice or in-house would be ideal.
You will be joining a business that has a very clear vision and purpose and one that makes its employees proud to work here.
What You’ll Get in Return
You will be working on the best quality work within a fantastic team, both in terms of expertise but also in terms of its supportive and sociable approach. You will have regular check-ins but won’t be micro-managed. There are lots of internal networks to become a part of which focus on personal wellbeing and life outside of work. This is a business that has a great success record of retaining its lawyers.
This friendly and supportive team makes brilliant use of technology to meet and share ideas when working remotely. Ideally, the successful candidate would work from one of the business’ offices one day per week but there is some flexibility for the right candidate.
Any references to PQE/years’ experience in our adverts are included purely as a guide and should not preclude candidates who believe they have the requisite skills and experience from applying.
