Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Gloucester - Main Contractor - Multi-Utility Projects - Civil Engineering Your new company You will be joining an established multi-utility contractor based in Gloucester. This multi-accredited main contractor specialises in delivering infrastructure solutions across the water, gas and power sectors, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. With an ongoing series of contracts as well as a major framework win, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team and onboard a Quantity Surveyor to join them.
This is a full-time permanent position based in their Gloucester office with site travel as and when required. Your new role As Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Preparing, managing and reviewing cost estimates, budgets and financial reports Conducting cost analysis and providing accurate forecasts to support project planning Monitoring project progress, tracking costs and reporting any discrepancies Liaising with clients, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company procedures Supporting the resolution of disputes and financial claims. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you must have: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the utilities (gas, water, power and/or telecoms) industry Strong knowledge of NEC contracts Sound analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence.
