Salary: National: £41,463 - £51,675 (which may include an allowance of up to £10,212). London: £47,657 - £56,050 (which may include an allowance of up to £8,393).

The Role
Justice Digital is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer Networks to join our friendly and collaborative Digital Infrastructure and Security Operations (DISO) team. In this role, you’ll be working within the LAN space, overseeing and managing our wired and Wi-Fi Local Area Network (LAN) services, both internally and externally provided.
As part of Justice Digital’s Technology Services team, you’ll be contributing to the management of 95,000 devices and infrastructure across 900+ sites. This team is responsible for all infrastructure, end-user computing, onsite support, and the delivery of technology projects, ensuring smooth and secure digital operations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Help to build, configure, administer and support network LAN and WiFi technologies and solutions that enable the Ministry of Justice to deliver services across the UK.
* Troubleshoot network issues and participate in 3rd line support activities, including out of hours rota.
* Support initiatives that deliver workable end-to-end infrastructure solutions.
* Communicate with end users and stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
* Present recommendations for resolving ticket requests and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of the process, policies and risk controls.
* Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues.
* Troubleshoot network related problem areas and issues as needed, to resolve operational issues and restore/optimise services.

Person Specification
Essential
* Experience in LAN and WiFi network infrastructure. This may include NACS, DNS and DHCP administration.
* Prior experience of 3rd line support in a large-scale network, with knowledge of incidents, events, and changes.
* Knowledge of strategic tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Mist, Meraki, ISE) and their relevance to network services.
* Ability to develop relationships with the Business Units and Technology Teams.
Willingness to be assessed against the requirements for SC clearance.
