Job Title: Logistics Driver – Waste & Laundry Collections

Location: Based at Tickhill Road Hospital, DN4 8QN
Shift Pattern: Ad hoc
Pay: Band 2 - £12.21- £22.34 per hour
NHS Professionals are looking for reliable and physically fit Logistics Drivers to support waste, laundry, and supplies collections across RDaSH sites.
We currently have multiple temporary placements available across 6 key routes in the Doncaster area, with drivers expected to rotate across routes and respond to service needs. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, team spirit and a full UK driving licence.
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Collecting and transporting waste and laundry across hospital and community sites
· Pushing heavy cages up ramps and loading/unloading deliveries at multiple locations
· Using handheld barcode scanners to manage collections and deliveries
· Driving a tug machine (15mph) safely and responsibly on NHS premises
· Transporting supplies between stores, Great Oaks and Scunthorpe locations
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Full UK driving licence (Essential)
· Physically fit and able to push, pull and load heavy items
· Able to work both independently and as part of a wider team
· Confident using basic handheld technology (scanner devices)
· Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays
· Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet throughout the shift
