The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client located in Fareham, working as a Fleet Technician. You will be tasked with ensuring their vital front-line services operate smoothly. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday - Friday.
Working in a small team in the vehicle workshop you will be undertaking maintenance of vehicles & plant equipment. Undertaking inspection, servicing, MOT preparation, diagnosing and repairs on all types of fleet vehicles.
Continual training and development will be given to meet the ever-changing automotive sector.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Fleet Technician:
Carry out safety inspection on Large and Light Vehicles
Carry out safety inspection on all types of Plant and equipment.
Carry out servicing, diagnosing, repairs and defects on all types of vehicles and owned equipment.
Prepare vehicles for MOT and meet the UK road safety legislation.
Undertake specialist diagnostic with use of scanner for maintenance, and repair works of plant/vehicles in the following specialist areas:
Electrical faults
Hydraulics
Computerised container hoists & Refuse Body
Automatic gear boxes
Plant Equipment
Package:
Salary up to £38,460 + Overtime at time and a half.
36-Days holiday
No weekends
Monday to Friday – 5:45am – 4:00pm – Week 1
Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 5:00pm – Week 2
