The role will involve:
* Managing an internal sales team dealing with underfloor heating systems sold to main contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors, and housebuilders.
* Implementing objectives and targets for the team and individual members.
* Mentoring and developing team members to perform at their best.
* Reviewing and improving the sales process for efficiency.
* Overseeing the sales pipeline in collaboration with the Operations Manager to meet delivery requirements.
* Working closely with the MD to develop and implement sales strategies.
* Leading and scheduling daily, weekly, and monthly sales meetings and one-to-one sessions with direct reports.
* Managing a team of 6 direct reports.
The ideal applicant will:
* Have sales management experience, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industries.
* Possess experience in plumbing & heating systems, such as underfloor heating.
* Be experienced in producing sales forecasts, setting targets, and managing teams of similar size.
* Have strong people management skills.
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Have strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
* Be highly organized with excellent time management skills.
* Be self-motivated, confident, driven, and ambitious.
