Team & Position Description: As the Head of Operations, you will lead on the management of our third-party logistics (3PL) provider, inventory management, supply chain and demand planning operations. Overseeing the inventory team and demand planners, your primary goal will be to ensure seamless supply chain processes, reduce costs, and meet customer satisfaction metrics through the analysis of data whilst holding our 3PL accountable to key performance metrics. You will be part of the Senior Management team reporting to the Managing Director and will be expected to collaborate cross-functionally (including working with teams in our US operations) to integrate efficient systems and strategies to drive operational excellence. This role requires a visionary leader capable of being a change agent, delivering measurable improvements in service levels, inventory accuracy, and demand forecast reliability. What you will do day to day (responsibilities): Strategic Alignment & Execution – Align operational activities with business objectives and strategic goals. Data-Driven Decision Making – Manage the effective use of D365 and related data through the development of reporting tools to inform operational improvements aligned to KPIs. Process Efficiency & System Utilisation – Leverage D365 to enhance process efficiency and operational workflows. Leadership & Team Development – Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Stakeholder & Vendor Management – Ensure optimal supplier performance and alignment with business goals to meet customer demand. What we are looking for (Key Performance Objectives): Lead ERP Adoption and Change Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive ERP change management plan within the first 9 months, ensuring engagement and alignment on goals with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product Development, Customer Service, 3PL, Sales & Amazon Team) Implement Data-Driven Decision Making: Within 4 months, design and deploy a real-time performance dashboard leveraging ERP analytics to track key operational metrics such as inventory accuracy, order fulfilment rates, and supply chain performance. Optimise ERP System for Operational Efficiency: Within the first 9 months, assess current operational workflows and identify at least three key processes for automation or improvement using the ERP system. Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Ensure the Operations team receives continuous upskilling on ERP usage and best practices. Achieve Cost Reduction and Resource Optimisation: Conduct a comprehensive operational audit within the first 12 months to identify cost-saving opportunities across inventory management, 3PL partnerships, and resource allocation. Requirements/Ideal Attributes: Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar Tier 1 ERP platforms a plus. Experience with analytics and PowerBI a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, strong Excel knowledge Strong demonstrated leadership in all functional areas Strong engagement and effective leadership in continuous improvement, productivity and efficiency Data-driven and analytical Champion of change: adaptable, flexible Proven track record of cross functional collaboration, team building and persuasive leadership.
