The Role
As a Shared Services Contract Manager responsible for several departments including Reinstatement, Planning, Stores and Plant you’ll find that no two days will be the same, as your areas of accountability include safety performance, profitability, growth, service delivery, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Here are some of the activities that you’ll get involved with…
* Formulate and embed operational processes and improvements
* Ensure seemless coordination and communication between departments
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations
* Promote best practice and a ‘right first time’ culture
* Lead and inspire your team to continually drive compliance, improve performance and maximise profitability
* Ownership and management of local budgets to ensure delivery of business plan in-line with affordability
* Highlight financial risks and variances, ensuring mitigation is in place where appropriate
* Implement and maintain processes, resources, systems and employees across the alliance, to achieve strategic objectives and priorities
* Support your senior reports to maximise organisation, production, and management of CDM onsite
* Effectively plan and control labour, plant and resources
* Foster excellent working relationships with clients, partners, customers and teams

You are an innovative, inspiring and commercially minded leader, with extensive knowledge and experience of developing high performing teams.
You have a broad understanding of the regulatory and operating environment in the water industry and in particular reinstatement and highways.
Exceptional communication skills, with the charisma to deliver key messages to a variety of stakeholders.
