Job Overview:
The post holder is a highly skilled, senior practitioner with expertise in Trauma and Orthopaedics. They will lead a team of Occupational Therapists and Technicians, working with the wider MDT in hospital and community settings. The role requires efficiency, organization, and a forward-thinking approach, using evidence-based practices to maintain high standards of care.
Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential; applications from Welsh and English speakers are welcome.
Main Duties:
* Deliver high standards of care and manage complex cases independently.
* Lead, supervise, and appraise the team.
* Support service redesign and participate in planning and evaluation.
* Maintain CPD and undertake audits and quality improvement projects.

Qualifications:
* Degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with HCPC.
* Postgraduate training in clinical education.
Desirable: MSc-level evidence, RCOT membership.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Experience with assessments relevant to trauma and orthopaedics.
* Experience working within an MDT.
* Leadership skills and knowledge of audit and quality improvement.
Experience:
* Autonomous caseload management.
* Team leadership, supervision, and appraisal.
* Research, audit, and quality improvement experience.
