Responsible for the maintenance and security of all STRAP and A bove Secret Systems and compliance. The Post Holder will provide reliable STRAP Security and Above Secret Administrator support to the High Readiness Headquarters Commando Forces. A successful applicant will need to achieve DV clearance and ideally have a background in handling and accounting for classified material. They should be proficient in the use of IT including the Microsoft Office Suite of applications. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. Job description Responsible for the maintenance and security of all STRAP and Above Secret systems compliance within Headquarters Commando Forces. Maintain an accurate register of Commando Force DV holders and DV expiry dates (including STRAP inducted/de-induction dates) and issue renewal reminders at least six months prior to expiry. Create Above Secret Accounts for individuals that require access on specific systems and problem solve using processes in place when issues with accounts arise for those persons. This includes enabling the deployment of those accounts from base locations to ship or overseas basing. With the authority of the Corporate STRAPSO (RN) they should also conduct STRAP induction / de-induction as required. Support and oversee Unit STRAPSOs across UKCF ensuring the correct practices are being followed. Attendance on training course and detach duty will be recompensed in accordance with relevant policy.
