Role Overview
Pertemps is seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the safeguarding service. The successful candidate will support triage decision-making, undertake Section 42 enquiries, develop protection plans, and work directly with individuals at risk of abuse or neglect. This role is vital in ensuring that vulnerable adults receive the necessary support and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
Support triage decision-making processes in safeguarding cases.
Conduct Section 42 enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014.
Develop and implement effective protection plans.
Provide direct support to individuals at risk of, or experiencing, abuse or neglect.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures.
Assess and manage risk while working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
Working Arrangements: Hybrid – Minimum 1 day per week onsite, plus travel for site visits
Key Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Previous experience in adult safeguarding and risk management.
Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding legislation.
Excellent record-keeping and risk assessment skills.
