EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a Portfolio Manager with NEC contractual and health and safety (CDM) experience to deliver the physical portfolio of projects within the Severn Trent Asset Intelligence and Innovation team. You will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers to deliver programmes across water, wastewater, infrastructure and non-infrastructure areas.
The Portfolio Manager will lead an integrated delivery team comprising members of Severn Trent Water, external partners and stakeholders to drive our ambitious goals. The role will require you to think differently about how we use and approach our data, through to the implementation and construction of physical innovative technologies.
As an individual, it is vital that you can identify risks and opportunities and mitigate any threats that could cause a detriment to project timeframes or budgets. We’d expect you to apply complex risk management principles while working to strict standards and codes of practice.
We’re looking for an experienced leader to come into this role focusing on adherence to key deliverables, key milestones, specifications, H&S, outputs, and quality.
Our purpose is taking care of life’s essentials, but we’re also big on making a difference, not just because we should but because we care. If you want to be part of this journey, keep on reading.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
As an experienced leader, you will have a proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex transformation projects, with experience of working collaboratively with contract partners, internal and external stakeholders, and multi-disciplined teams.
You will have experience in developing highly capable and high performing teams, and you will utilise your knowledge, skills and experience to influence decision makers at the highest levels to drive efficiencies and capabilities.

It’s not just a job you’ll get here, you’ll get a career too. We have a range of benefits that reward and recognise great work and award-winning training to ensure you reach your potential.
