About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring a high standard of care, compliance with Ofsted regulations, and a supportive team environment. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance the service, working closely with senior leadership to drive positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Service Management:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 7-bed EBD/LD home.
2. Lead, support, and develop a dedicated staff team, ensuring a positive and therapeutic environment.
3. Ensure high-quality care is delivered in line with Ofsted requirements.
2. Care & Safeguarding:
1. Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of young people with EBD and LD.
2. Implement individual care plans and behaviour management strategies.
3. Work in partnership with social workers, families, and external agencies.
3. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
1. Maintain Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
2. Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices are fully adhered to.
3. Monitor and review the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement.
4. Career Progression & Development:
1. Access structured leadership development through the internal leadership academy.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a residential EBD or LD setting.
2. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards it).
3. Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and therapeutic childcare approaches.
4. Passion for improving the lives of children and young people with complex needs.
5. Ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver the highest standard of care.
