Our client is an independent MEP Consulting Engineering practice looking to build upon an excellent start to business life and comfortably enjoying their 4th year of trading.
With the challenges associated with setting up a new business successfully navigated and the focus firmly on the future, the business has enjoyed year-on-year growth and looks set to achieve their best results yet as they plan ahead for what 2025 has in store. Regular repeat custom and a solid forward order book offers the company a great platform to grow organically, with recruitment a key part of the next stage of evolution. With the office already housing 10 M&E Design professionals, many of whom have worked as part of the team in previous organisations, the environment is both high performing and friendly which offers an attractive collaborative atmosphere.
The appointment of a BIM specialist will mark a significant shift in how projects are delivered. Currently, BIM Modelling is driven by a small group of Revit trained Design Engineers; however, the project base has grown to a level where a full-time BIM Coordinator is now required to dedicate his/her time to developing the models and working closely with the M&E Design Team. Not only will this help standardise and improve current processes, it will also importantly give precious time back to the Engineers to invest into their schemes, ensuring customers continue to experience the very best service.
Responsibilities:
1. Work alongside M&E Design Engineers as a trained MEP Revit Technician/Coordinator.
2. Manage deadlines and prioritise a growing workload to ensure high-quality models are produced.
3. Fulfill all associated IT admin duties.
4. Work towards a BIM Manager role and build a small team to support live projects.
Qualifications:
1. Proficient user of Revit software.
2. Experience working with M&E Design Engineers.
Applications are invited from candidates who meet these qualifications.
