As recognised global leaders in girls’ education, the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) combines more than 150 years of expertise and experience with a progressive and pace-setting vision for the future. Our 24 independent girls’ schools and two academies educate 20,000 students across England and Wales and are united by a shared purpose: to help girls learn without limits, so they can go on to lead lives without limits and make the world a better place for us all.
We now seek a visionary Director of Education to shape the future of girls’ education. Reporting to the CEO and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the appointee will bring a strong academic and research background and a bold ambition for our future. They will realise the advantages of scale to drive change, inspire excellence, and craft an exciting and innovative educational journey for future generations of female leaders.
The GDST is looking for someone who leads with integrity and clarity, inspires others with an ambitious vision, and creates an environment where everyone feels valued and able to succeed. If you are a future-focused, creative and open-minded leader with a passion for transforming education, we would love to hear from you.
