The role: To provide support to the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand Care UK’s legal framework for processing Subject Access Requests and any other data requests under the Access to Health Records Act.
2. Assist with the processing of SARs made to Care UK in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and Care UK’s policies and procedures.
3. Carry out the data protection due diligence on acquisitions and provide post-completion support assimilating the new businesses into Care UK.
4. Provide monthly progress reports for ongoing SARs and other data requests.
5. Support the legal team by providing accurate and efficient administrative assistance.
6. Draft and produce correspondence, e-mails, reports, and other documentation as required.
7. Ensure all telephone calls are dealt with in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
8. Communicate with a wide range of groups including members of the public, senior managers, courts, and other external organizations.
9. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and legislation.
