HR Systems Specialist Contract Type: Secondment /Fixed Term Contract (Full-Time) - 12 Months Location: Milton Keynes (MK4 4BX) Hybrid working available Grade: RCS L DHL are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Systems Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising our HR and Payroll systems, ensuring they align with our company's digitisation strategy and meet legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing third-party systems, interfaces and automation linked to HR Shared Services activities, leading continuous improvement initiatives and interacting with, and delivering for, key stakeholders. The HR and Payroll Systems team are integral part, ensuring the entire operation has the systemic tools they need to succeed. HR Shared Services are embarking on a period of significant transformation and the HR and Payroll Systems are an integral part of delivering that change. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, you will; Business as Usual : Ensure that HR and Payroll systems, interfaces and automation are operating as expected and that all users have the required systems access and skills they need to perform their roles. Continuous Improvement: Collect system improvement needs, configure systems, manage continuous improvement initiatives, and assess the cost/benefit of potential improvements. Project Management: Perform gap analysis, manage implementation plans, update documentation, and communicate new systems and processes to leadership, ensuring projects remain on track. System Documentation: Document system designs, legal requirements, and controls, and develop to-be process designs in line with the company's digitisation strategy. Internal Controls: Contribute to HR systems strategy, document system usage and internal controls, and ensure changes meet legal and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Management: Align system changes with relevant stakeholders, articulate the needs, and engage with relevant teams, such as Global HR Business Process Optimisation (HRBPO), Global HR Development and Operations (HRDO) and IT teams, where required, for design approvals and implementation. Expertise & Testing: Provide expertise on process design, ensure internal controls in system changes, and perform functional application testing with IT. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Additionally, 3 years of experience in HR, process improvement/management, system management, and/or project management. Ability to provide project management support Expert understanding of transactional HR processes related to systems and processes. Ability to analyse systems and processes and provide optimisation recommendations. Good general business and operational management experience. Basic technical knowledge of global and regional systems. Oracle Service Cloud (Case Management), Oracle HCM Cloud (HR Management), Kronos Workforce Central (Time and Attendance), and/or Resourcelink (Payroll) would be desirable. WHY CHOOSE US?
