Facilities Services are looking for Facilities Officers to support the Business Adviser to ensure provision of an efficient and quality Facilities Management Service. You will be responsible for the management of frontline services ie catering, cleaning and janitorial services within 20+ schools and 52 week premises across a geographical area of South Lanarkshire. This includes staff management of up to 250 employees, financial control and management, liaise with Heads of Premise and clients, and ensure legislation in adhered to in terms of Health and Safety, Nutritional Standards and Food Safety. - Represent facilities services at local meetings, public meetings, parent evenings. - Assist in the promotion and development of Facilities Services and identify areas of expansion taking into consideration constraints of current legislation. This will include assisting and contributing to projects as required by the resource. - Provide advice and guidance and support to frontline services when developing and maintaining SSOW, risk assessment, manual handling and COSSH requirements. - Monitor budgets and take corrective action in terms of any variances for employee costs/supplies and services for all areas of service responsibility. - Effective delivery of facilities management within cluster remit, in accordance with policies, SLA's, legislation/statutory requirements, quality systems, performance targets and customer requirements
