The purpose of the role is to assist with the day to day of the Compliance Department and to help communicate, maintain and monitor the on-going compliance activities within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work in collaboration with departments to enhance compliance awareness and processes
2. Implement the Business Continuity Plan.
3. Deputise for the Compliance Manager and the Compliance Administrator
4. Manage the updating of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) documentation
5. Conduct completion of various check sheets and questionnaires
6. Lead and document the nationwide Fixed Asset audits
7. Lead the administration of various Compliance & Legal training activities
8. Manage the set up and maintenance of the SAP system user profiles
9. Ensure the issue of the Compliance New Starter Induction Pack
10. Support the reporting of Battery and WEEE data on quarterly basis as a regulatory compliance obligation
What the employer is looking for:
1. 3 years + corporate compliance experience
2. Experience of corporate governance
3. IT competent and confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
4. Ability to multi-task
5. Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
6. Experience of working to deadlines and motivating/monitoring others
7. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
