About the role Dods Training is looking for a temporary Project Assistant to support the day-to-day management of training deliveries and provide administrative assistance to the UK training team. As part of Total Politics, Dods Training offers high-quality training delivered in various formats, across a wide range of subjects, including policymaking, governance, leadership and management, communication skills, and media handling. These training sessions are delivered in various formats to meet the diverse needs of our clients. The Project Assistant will work on a variety of training deliveries, from large, long-term deliveries to one-off online training courses across a variety of clients. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a variety of training events, supporting both the Training Project Manager and the Head of UK Training in ensuring smooth delivery. You will work closely with a range of key stakeholders—including associate trainers, guest speakers, clients, and delegates—across multiple projects to ensure the successful execution of each event. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organisational and communication skills to deliver first-class support to the team. Key responsibilities The temporary Project Assistant will work closely with the UK Training Team, providing support across all aspects of training delivery, including: To manage various Off the Shelf courses booked via Government Campus; Administrating Joining Instructions to Participants; Liaising with the departments bookers and Civil Service Framework providers Government Campus/ KPMG; Managing OTS online deliveries and creating MSTeam meetings and breakout rooms/ trouble shooting IT problems during training delivery; Speaking with the associate prior to delivering training to ensure they have received all teams links; To administer the general preparation, organisation, and delivery of training deliveries, both online and face-to-face; Offering tech support when required on online training programmes; Booking hotels and travel for associates and clients when required; Creating a feedback loop for both clients and associates; Prepare event materials and support at training deliveries when required; and Data analysis for evaluation reports following course delivery. Skills required Strong user of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) Experience using MSTeams and Zoom Attention to detail Data entry Communication and Presentation skills Time Management Organisational skills Stakeholder Management Customer Service skills Please note that this is a fixed-term contract for a duration of 3 months, starting in January, with a commitment of 3 days per week.
