Job Description Closing Date: 5 December 2024 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £27,276 - £28,719 Hours: 35 hours An exciting opportunity has arisen within Facilities Management at Stirling Council for a Facilities Supervisor. We are looking for a customer focused individual with good communication and problem solving skills. The post will involve working closely with the Facilities Officers to provide supervisory support within the Facilities Management team on a full-time 35 hour per week basis. This is a busy role and will include providing supervision to ensure cleaning and care taking tasks are maintained in accordance with our agreed KPI’s and SLAs. You will also assist in the delivery of the training associated with the delivery of the FM service, ensuring that Health and Safety practices are adhered to. Working hours for the post will be on a shift basis Monday to Friday between the core hours of 0800-2200 paid at Stirling Council Grade 6. Occasional evening and weekend working may be required. All personal protective equipment (uniform etc.) and training will be provided. Applicants will need to be physically fit, as porterage and other heavy lifting forms including the use of heavy cleaning machinery will form part of the role. The successful applicant will be expected to visit multiple locations during their working week and therefore must have a current driving licence. Applicants should be a competent user of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
