Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Neapolitan style pizza making and cooking. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizza dough as well as pizzas and sides, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
* Prepare and cook pizzas and garlic bread in accordance with our dough and pizza recipe and menu.
* Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency in every meal served.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a Neapolitan pizzeria.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques.
* Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
* Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
