You will be responsible for managing the timely collection of payments and ensuring the reduction of outstanding debts. Description As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for: Manage the collection of outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices Perform credit checks on potential clients and assess creditworthiness Implement effective recovery strategies Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance department to reconcile accounts Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations Profile A successful Credit Controller should have: A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection regulations Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in using MS Office suite and accounting software Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations High level of professionalism and ethical standards Job Offer If you are successful you will be entitled to: A competitive salary in the range of £22k to £25k per annum Comprehensive benefits package A supportive and collaborative work environment in the FMCG industry Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Located in the vibrant city of Preston
