To assist registered nurses deliver evidence based care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers. Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the under the supervision for periods the period of the shift. Main duties of the job This is an exciting opportunity for a health care support worker that has an interest in working and caring for patients to a high standard on a oncology, haematology day unit. There will be an opportunity for the candidate to enhance their current skills and knowledge of how to care for patients receiving chemotherapy. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
