Vacancy: Quality Manager
Location: Yeovil, Somerset
Salary: GBP35k–GBP45k DOE
JHP Recruitment are seeking a methodical and detail–oriented Quality Manager to join our packaging distribution client on a full–time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will have proven experience leading a Quality department in conducting internal and external audits, supporting Quality Technicians in their roles, and communicating with management and other teams to ensure compliant delivery of goods.
Main Accountabilities:
* Assist in the managing of the Quality department effectively, ensuring the highest standards of goods are imported and exported at all times by monitoring internal and external processes
* Lead compliance meetings, addressing all actions and ensuring they are completed in accordance with timescales
* Be a BRCGS, ISO9001, ISO14001 and FSC internal auditor, and lead the audit team in conducting all internal and external audits in accordance with the yearly schedule
* Be responsible for planning, scheduling and delivering regular hygiene and quality audits
* Respond to any customer quality complaints and queries
* Continuously update and maintain a detailed Quality Management System
Required Skills & Experience:
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external teams
* Qualified in conducting internal ISO, FSC, and BRCGS audits
* Effective problem solving and logical decision–making ability
* Great understanding of quality procedures and processes
* Experience in a similar role within a packaging company is desirable
