Salary: Up to £60,000 pro-rata, (dependent onexperience)
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent,41 weeks, Term Time only

About therole
This is a really exciting time tojoin our new clinical team supporting Copper Fields School. With experienced Psychologists and Lead Clinicians working acrossthe South West locality, clinical supervision available internallyand our £2000 CPD incentive (following successful completion of theprobation period), this post will offer the successful applicant anopportunity to develop their specialism in working with autisticchildren and young people, including those who have experiencedtrauma.
We are looking for a Lead Clinician toprovide frontline management and leadership support to our newin-house Clinical Team in our brand new Copper Fields School basedin the South West. The postholder will work collaboratively withboth the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the ClinicalLocality Lead, plus other key stakeholders across OFG.
The role will be split between clinically leading the teamand holding a therapy caseload. Working collaboratively with theteam, the postholder will deliver bespoke assessment andintervention plans for our students who may present withcomplex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types ofneurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional andmental health (SEMH) needs. They will also be responsible forcoordinating the line management of the members of the onsiteclinical team and leading on the service development of theclinical school-based service, alongside the school SLT andClinical Locality Lead.
The postholder will beresponsible for holding the therapy caseload with the full supportof our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network andgrowing Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff trainingand consultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, thisposition would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with atherapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well asmanage their own workload and supervise others. Working within overall frameworkof the service policies and procedures, the postholder will besupporting the integration of the specific service in the day today running of each provision i.e., standardised assessments andclinical services. A key aspect of the role will be to deliver thewellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at a universal,enhanced and specialist level to support our wider teams in meetingour pupils’ needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plan(EHCP).

Essential Criteria:
* Recognised postgraduate degree inClinical, Forensic or Educational Psychology
* Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist withthe HCPC
* Valid and up todate professional Registration & membership of theBPS
* Experience within thespecialist client group; working with autistic individuals andthose with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating toclinical and research activities
* Experience of providing supervision andsupporting a therapy team
* Ability to workindependently
* Ability towork dynamically and within a growing and developing clinicalservice
* Experience ofmulti-professional work with teams or services within thedesignated specialty preferred
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to ownvehicle
