We are seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team, focusing on both small and large-scale projects across the South West. This role involves preparing detailed estimates and managing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contract requirements and project goals. Key Responsibilities Lead the commercial estimating for diverse projects valued up to £4 million, showcasing your expertise by managing a dynamic flow of 1,100-1,200 quotes annually. Develop detailed, precision-driven estimates for an array of projects-ranging from soft and hard landscaping to specialised vegetation management, with an emphasis on unique, tree-focused initiatives. Conduct on-the-ground site visits to capture real-time project conditions, ensuring each estimate is rooted in accuracy and hands-on insight. Take charge of contract management, proactively handling early warning notices to keep projects aligned and on track. Requirements Demonstrated expertise as an estimator within the construction or landscaping sectors, with a track record of delivering accurate project assessments. Ideally you will have knowledge of NEC4 contracts, with the ability to navigate and apply contract standards seamlessly. Advanced proficiency in estimating software, including Excel, CAD, or industry-specific tools, ensuring efficiency and precision.
