I am currently recruiting for a fabric/maintenance technician for a part-time vacancy in Holborn.
The working hours are 9am-5pm for 3 or 4 days per week, to be decided based on the requirements of the candidate and suitability for the role.
To be suitable for this contract, you must meet the below criteria:
1. Have a minimum of 5 years fabric maintenance experience in a commercial maintenance environment.
2. Have a background in general trades, i.e., painting, carpentry, plastering.
3. Be able to quote for additional works and effectively liaise with clients.
4. Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references from work completed in the past 5 years.
5. Have your own safety boots and basic hand tools.
My client is one of the largest facilities providers in the UK, and the successful fabric engineer will be based at a commercial building in Holborn.
The shift and working hours are 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri, and the starting salary is £30,000, although this could change depending on the number of days worked each week.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to, general maintenance, changing lights, basic plumbing, flushing, making good, changing door locks, painting, cleaning plant rooms, and assisting M&E engineers.
