Working closely with the existing owner you will learn the business, services and customers with a view to taking over the full running of the company. You will shape the future of the business, the company already has an enviable reputation and client base, with limited sales and marketing they have grown exponentially though word of mouth and delivering on time complex solutions into the marine sector. This company’s secret weapon is their amazing technical team who always deliver on time and within budget complex IT and Telecoms solutions. This includes satellite communication systems, on ship point of sale, High security telephony systems, ship to shore comms, data security and bespoke systems and services. Working closely with the Owner and Technical Director you will be instrumental in driving growth, leveraging their reputation and powerful case studies as well as enhancing their service offering. This is a full General Management position. As you prove yourself and demonstrate the right attitude, behaviours and results the owner will step away, but will always support you when needed. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of support engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Client Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts while identifying opportunities for new business development. Revenue Growth: Drive initiatives to build new relationships and increase revenue streams for the organisation. Strategic Input: Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights that shape the strategic direction of the business. Operational Oversight: Contribute to the finance, administration, support, and sales functions to ensure seamless operations. Qualifications and Experience: Technical Expertise: A strong background in IT, Communications, or Support Engineering is essential. Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in B2B sales and professional client interactions, demonstrating a keen understanding of market dynamics. Educational Background: A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
