Location: Bromborough based with UK & International Travel
Hours: Full Time/Permanent (40 hours per week) & Flexible Working
The Role
Due to an exciting period of growth, Marine Specialised Technology Limited are seeking to employ a Project Manager at their Bromborough site. The role will provide expertise and lead on various projects. The Project Manager will need to be a dynamic individual who will coordinate with multiple departments from initial concept through to production and delivery, ensuring technical specifications, timescales, budgets and quality standards are met. Technical knowledge and marine experience is essential for this role and you will need to be able to demonstrate skills and experience in these competences.
Responsibilities
1. Full project oversight
2. Taking ownership of all tasks within the project
3. Assist in further planning before and during projects
4. Monitoring project performance, inputting where possible
5. Ongoing review of staffing, budgets and project schedule
6. Offer support to other departments and managers
7. Responsible to the customer for the success of the economic and technical planning, implementation, delivery and completion of a project
Skills & Experience
1. Excellent in planning and monitoring projects with a minimum of 2 years marine experience in the field of project management
2. The capacity to grasp the MST ethos and product range
3. Attention to detail to ensure highest levels of performance & quality achieved
4. The ability to communicate clearly with your team, directors and clients
5. Good organisational and leadership skills
6. Ability to work under pressure
7. IT Literate
8. In-depth experience in project delivery from defining specifications from customer requirements to delivery of operations
9. Understanding of HR/Quality policies & procedures within a manufacturing workshop
This position will ideally suit an individual with a wealth of mechanical, engineering, and commercial skills. A keen multi-tasker, exhibiting excellent levels of organisation, logistic skills and a keen eye for detail. Ideally coming from a marine background understanding the way a marine build works and the pitfalls of marine construction.
Qualifications
1. Academic qualifications Degree in a relevant engineering subject or time served experience
2. Hold suitable qualifications in project management within the engineering/manufacturing industry (PRINCE 2)
The successful candidate must be able to achieve full SC (Security Clearance)
