Veterinary Referrals Hospital Receptionist: Veterinary Hospital in Surbiton We are looking for a positive and approachable individual who has genuine passion in providing outstanding client care and client experience. The right candidate can establish themselves in a growing group of practices. We provide excellent training, so you do not need previous experience in the veterinary sector. We believe in career progression for all and our training system allows you to develop areas of special interest within the role, as-well as seek managerial roles within our group. Salary will depend on previous experience and would range between £20,000-£27,000. This is a full-time role (40 hours a week). As a Referrals Hospital Receptionist you would be responsible for: Point of contact for clients for the referral function, hospital and surgical cases. Client compliance management. Client facing for payments, bookings, queries, pre and post operatively and admissions for procedures. Complaint handling and resolution. Maintaining and reviewing error and complaint logs with the team and senior managers. Managing medication and shop/food orders. Administration function for consent, insurance and debt management. Liaising with veterinary surgeons to ensure client needs are met including daily rounds calls. Diary management for the referral function. Management of client accounts. Updating clients accounts to include pricing accurately. Typing of notes and discharge plans as discussed/ dictated by veterinary surgeons. Laboratory management. Checking of insurances and finance discussions with clients. Daily updates as well as pre and post procedure updates. Why work for Voo? Excellent communication with particular reference to negotiation, persuasion/sales and written skills. Level headed and calm demeanor. Positive attitude with a confident and empathetic approach. Confident IT skills Ability to flourish in a busy environment, multi-tasking and maintaining organisation. Enjoys working with and helping people with a pro-active, can-do attitude. What now?
