Front of House & Membership Manager

Role Overview
As the Front of House & Membership Manager, you will be the face of Zeno, ensuring every member and visitor receives a top-tier experience from the moment they walk through our doors. You will lead and develop the Front of House team, manage the end-to-end membership journey, and play a key role in driving member engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, train, and support the Front of House team to deliver outstanding customer service.
2. Oversee daily operations at reception, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
3. Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere at all times.
4. Handle member inquiries, complaints, and feedback, resolving issues promptly.
5. Ensure all front desk procedures, including check-ins, bookings, and payments, are carried out accurately.
6. Drive membership growth by proactively promoting Zeno’s offerings and converting inquiries into sign-ups.
7. Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and retention.
8. Monitor membership data, track performance, and provide reports to the General Manager.
9. Work closely with marketing to run promotions, events, and referral programs.
10. Ensure all membership records are kept up to date and GDPR-compliant.
11. Recruit, train, and develop Front of House team members to maintain high performance standards.
12. Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing coaching and support.
13. Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, ensuring accountability and motivation.
General Administration & Compliance
1. Ensure all Front of House procedures align with company policies and health & safety regulations.
2. Manage stock levels for reception and retail areas.
3. Assist with general facility management, ensuring the reception and common areas are well-maintained.
What We’re Looking For
1. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in the fitness, hospitality, or retail sector.
2. Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
3. Sales and membership management experience with a proven track record of hitting targets.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Highly organized with the ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure.
6. Passion for health, fitness, and creating a positive gym environment.
