Aspire People is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across various schools in Nuneaton and Bedworth. This full-time role involves day-to-day support for students from Early Years to Year 6, providing 1:1 assistance and leading small groups. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and committed to helping children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for children in various year groups (EYFS to Year 6)
Supporting teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery
Assisting with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and reporting to teachers
Supporting children with additional needs, ensuring all students feel included and supported
Upholding safeguarding procedures and policies in line with school guidelines
Essential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Up-to-date Safeguarding Certificate
Experience working with children across primary school settings
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to various school environments
Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
Desirable:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role
Understanding of SEND and differentiated learning
