POSITION OVERVIEW:
EOS IT Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Accounts and Administration team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient financial operations of our organization by managing purchase ledger processes, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the wider accounts team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Processing invoices and posting onto Sage Accounts system
2. Preparing payment runs and posting payments through the bank
3. Reconciling purchase ledger accounts to statements
4. Over-seeing and assisting in the completion of the Purchase Ledger month end
5. Liaising with staff and suppliers to resolve purchase ledger queries
6. Perform the month end processes and maintain the general ledger integration
7. Any other additional administrative duties that assist the effective running of the Accounts’ team
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
ESSENTIAL:
1. A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
2. Experience using a computerised accountancy system (preferably Sage)
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1. Strong Excel skills to include manipulation of data and the ability to present data in a clear financial format.
2. The ability to work well in a team, to work well under pressure and accurately to meet deadlines.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Pay close attention to detail.
