The team
We have a fantastic, new opportunity for an experienced Nodrics Finance Manager, based in our Cambridge office.
Role and responsibilities
1. Responsible for ensuring the company has the highest degree of financial integrity and control maintained in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.
2. Business partner with the regional GM on commercial initiatives like tenders, volume/cost/price analysis for new customers, or any other strategic requirement.
3. Specifically take control of the balance sheet, working capital, and cash flow including the recording of actuals, accurate budgeting/forecasting, and optimizing the use of business resources.
4. Guide and coordinate the external audit processes ensuring appropriate parties (e.g., auditors, Finance Shared Service Center) are aligned on timescales & requirements.
5. Ensure and undertake review of monthly accounts (in both management accounting and transfer pricing summary format) prepared by the FSSC, ensuring full alignment with the FND submission and that all inter-company balances are fully supported and communicated.
6. Coordinate forecasts and budgets (including OB, MYE, YEE) for all balance sheet, cash flow, and certain P&L areas including insurance, restructure, bank charges, interest, property, and tax.
7. Partner effectively with all stakeholders including non-Finance, GFLT, FSSC, and colleagues internationally.
What you'll bring
1. Significant post-qualification experience in Financial Controlling roles.
2. Experience working within a reputable audit company.
3. Previous people leadership experience with a track record of maximizing individual and team performance.
4. Business partnering, influencing, and negotiation skills.
5. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable education.
6. Cash and working capital management.
7. Highly effective communicator both in writing and face to face.
8. Strong project management skills.
