With a focus on exceptional customer experience, we aim to rival the likes of premium health clubs, whilst promoting a strong local community feel.
This isn't your average club manager job. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Operations and Membership Manager to lead the daily operation of the club, inspire our team and take ownership of the full members journey.
You'll be the heartbeat of the club, managing people, planning events, building relationships and driving member engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead the day to day operations of the club - nothing gets past you
2. Support and develop the leisure team to deliver exceptional service
3. Manage team rotas, holidays, training and performance reviews
4. Create a warm, friendly and motivating atmosphere for both staff and members
5. Plan, promote and deliver events, challenges and campaigns that members love
6. Drive membership growth and retention through brilliant customer service
7. Develop and implement revenue generating initiatives with senior management
8. Maintain top-tier cleanliness, safety and operational standards
9. Collaborate with freelance instructors to keep the class schedule fresh and exciting
10. Handle member enquiries, feedback and issues with professionalism and warmth
11. Report usage trends, member feedback and revenue opportunities to leadership
12. Manage stock, work with suppliers and escalate maintenance needs as required
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must haves
1. Proven experience leading a team in a customer facing environment
2. A natural people person who builds rapport effortlessly
3. A proactive, can do attitude with the confidence to lead from the front
4. Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
5. A cool head and a warm heart, able to stay calm and lift others
6. Willingness to work weekends and evenings as part of a flexible rota
Bonus Points For
1. Experience in leisure, hospitality or health clubs (but not essential)
2. A knack for planning events or launching initiatives
3. Creative flair with a commercial mindset - ideas are great but execution is better
