Job Description Equifind are working with a highly regarded private equity house based near Trafalgar Square who are looking to hire a Fund Controller for an incredibly broad role reporting directly into the CFO. This private equity firm have an excellent track record in their respective field on a global scale. They’re now scaling rapidly across the globe, headcount and new funds in the pipeline; which now totally well over $4bn AUM and are at varying different levels in their life cycles. Key duties of the role include: Primary focus across day to day activity of the Private Equity Funds, including but not limited to capital calls and distribution notices, management accounts and audit, deal execution Preparation of the quarterly valuation process and Valuation Committee process Liaise with the fund administrators and together with the tax advisor(s) deliver the investor tax reporting packages Support the quarterly portfolio review process, analysing underlying investments and budgets, in articulation with the Investment Team Overseeing the finances of investment vehicles e.g. NAV oversight, cash management, invoice approval, budgeting and the audit processes Assist on deal execution (tax advisors, accountants, lawyers, investment team) Working with IR to respond to investor queries about their holdings, performance, distributions and other ad-hoc questions in a timely manner Management of a team of two qualified Fund Accountants Assisting administrators with the audit process at the Fund level Review of Holding company financial statements Review of regulatory filings and tax returns prepared by administrators and advisors Required Experience: ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant 7-10 years post qualified experience in a fund finance related role Capable of working to meet tight deadline deliverables, and able to be flexible to prioritise multiple tasks and deliverables at one time Excellent communication skills, being able to Ability to work independently and also as part of the wider team Package Includes: Base salary of £100,000 - 130,000 Annual discretionary bonus Hybrid working model 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays Healthcare Company Pension Scheme.
