Domiciliary Care Workers - Must have Driver's Licence
We need 4 Domiciliary Care Workers, who must be drivers and have enhanced DBS checks.
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, including seniors and those requiring special care. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and companionship. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being.
- Facilitate activities that encourage social interaction and mental stimulation for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients in assisted living settings.
- Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care work or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to individuals in need.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks when assisting clients.
- Knowledge of senior care practices and childcare is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
Shifts
- 2 x 7am to 2pm
- 2 x 3.30pm to 10.30pm
Pay: £12 p/h
Predominantly in the NN1 to NN5 Northampton areas.
