Senior Business Analyst – Openlink, Commodities, Regulatory Reporting
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Rate: £600-£700/day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Commodities Technology team in London. This role is ideal for a specialist with deep knowledge of Openlink, deal modelling, and regulatory transaction reporting (CFTC, EMIR, FCA, MAS, HKMA, MIFID, REMIT).
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Openlink, commodities trading, and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with traders, regulatory teams, and IT to enhance reporting processes.
* Lead regulatory reporting framework implementations and enhancements to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
* Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
* Work closely with developers, QA, and compliance teams to deliver robust solutions.
Key Requirements
* 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services and commodities trading (precious metals experience is a plus).
* Extensive hands-on Openlink experience, with strong knowledge of deal modelling and Openlink data model.
* Proven expertise in regulatory transaction reporting (DTCC regulations, EMIR, CFTC, FCA, MAS, HKMA, MIFID, REMIT).
* Advanced SQL and Excel skills (Python is a plus).
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
