Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components. What will I be doing?
The purpose of the CNC Milling role is to set and operate CNC machines within the Milling section. Produce parts to the required drawing and specification in line with SHE UK standards, processes and accreditations. Work within the company procedures to deliver an on time, cost efficient, quality product.
1. Using standardised processes, programs, established tooling and fixtures, set and operate CNC Milling machines.
2. Work in accordance with HSE legislation, the Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures.
3. Ensure that products meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and airworthiness authorities by manufacturing parts to drawings, documentation, routings and required standards as defined using a variety of production/inspection methods and equipment during the manufacturing life cycle.
4. Demonstrate the Company Values & Behaviours. Ensure documentation / routings are completed accurately and processed correctly in a timely manner.
5. Play an active part within the team and contribute to the business objectives and continuous improvement philosophies and opportunities.
6. Adherence to SQCDPI quality requirements and improvements.
7. Other tasks which, from time to time may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business within the remit of this post.
- 40hrs a week over 4 days Mon-Thu (3 Consecutive days off)
- 20% uplift for Night Shift Hours

What do you need from me?
1. Apprenticeship within the Manufacturing sector – Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry (Dependant on experience minimum 3 years)
2. Experience and familiar with company procedures and processes within an organisation accredited to ISO, CAA, BSI or equivalent standards
3. Experience of programming (desirable)
4. Experience of 5S methodology (desirable)
5. Ability to solve problems
