We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our client's vibrant team, delivering outstanding customer service and high-quality food provision across a diverse range of education and business contracts. What You'll Do: As an Area Manager, you will oversee approximately 20 contracts, ensuring each site operates at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include: Operational Leadership: Support onsite teams in day-to-day operations to maintain the highest standards. Financial Management: Manage income lines while ensuring budget profitability, including food, sundry, and labour costs. Client Engagement: Attend client meetings, building and reinforcing positive relationships to enhance our competitive edge. Project Management: Mobilise and demobilise contracts, effectively managing all related plans. Menu Development: Collaborate on menu planning, focusing on nutritional values and customer satisfaction. Team Development: Identify training needs and nurture talent within your teams. Compliance & Safety: Conduct Health and Safety audits to ensure adherence to legislative and company standards. Who You Are: We're looking for a leader who embodies a positive, 'can-do' attitude and who thrives in a dynamic environment. You should have: Proven experience in contract catering management. Strong craft skills, particularly in food presentation and taste. Proficiency in IT and a knack for managing diverse relationships. A creative approach to menus, incorporating global flavours and dietary requirements. The drive to seek new business opportunities and foster team growth. Essential Qualifications: Previous contract catering experience is essential. Strong leadership and communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and a willingness to travel.
