About the Role:
This is a newly created role within the growing Technology and Security Risk Team of Group Risk and Compliance (2nd Line of Defence). As a Technology Change Risk Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation. Your expertise in Technology Change and Systems Development Risk will be crucial as you:
* Advise the Board and senior management on strategic planning and decision-making.
* Independently oversee and challenge the Group's strategic and business risk profiles.
* Provide formal independent opinions on significant risks.
* Monitor and report on Group-wide risk exposures ensuring the 1st Line of Defence effectively implements the risk management framework.
* Conduct risk-based independent assurance reviews and informative advisory reviews.
* Facilitate risk management activities across the Group.
* Promote a strong risk culture through communications, education, and training.
* Overseeing the resolution of service and technology incidents.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is not just qualified, but passionate about making a difference.
* You possess a deep understanding of technology risk management practices.
* You have experience with IT governance frameworks.
* You hold certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CGEIT, CISM, Prince2 or ITIL.
* You are skilled in systems development methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, Hybrid or Waterfall
* You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and can work independently in a highly effective team.
