Planning Solicitor (4+ PQE) | Leading Regional Law Firm | Norwich office

This position offers the chance to engage with a diverse client base, including residential developers, businesses, agricultural and equine developments, local planning authorities, affordable housing organisations, Parish Councils, and private individuals. The firm provides comprehensive planning, highways, and environmental legal services, and the role will involve close collaboration with the Commercial Property and Development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the firm's planning services, working on a variety of matters such as:
* Drafting and negotiating key infrastructure agreements
* Overseeing project appraisals and development processes
* Conducting due diligence on funding matters
* Managing planning appeals and judicial reviews
* Advising on enforcement actions and certificates of lawfulness
* Addressing public rights of way issues, including diversion orders and map modification (preferred but not essential)
* Assisting with Compulsory Purchase Orders (preferred but not essential)
What We're Looking For:
* At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in a planning law role
* Strong communication skills with a client-first approach
* A proactive individual eager to contribute to the growth and development of the planning team
* Capable of delivering strategic and practical advice tailored to client needs
