About the role of Environmental Clerk of Works
This tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in large complex civils projects ranging up to £500M. Sectors include rail, highways and heavy infrastructure schemes across the UK. The role of Environmental Clerk of Works will be joining an immediate team of three people and be based across their sites in the Midlands, Wales and North West.
Responsibilities for Environmental Clerk of Works
Assist with the typical issues including protected species, pollution, surface water management, material management, air quality and noise.
Conducting ecological and habitat surveys, providing recommendations and reports
Working with and building relationships with key clients and Stakeholders
Requirements for Environmental Clerk of Works
Previous experience within the construction industry and a similar role is fundamental,
Relevant degree or qualification within either construction, Ecology or environmental
Knowledge and understanding of ISO14001, ISO50001 OR ISO20400
Member of CIEEM would be preferred
