Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Sunday to cover early, late and night weekday and weekend shifts as required.

The Traffic Office Administrator is a vital role at East Midlands VOC as it plays a part in supporting a safe, efficient and cost-effective fleet. Standards and methodology must be followed while you:
1. Ensure that the Distribution Management System is kept up to date and data correctly input daily, all drivers are de-briefed at the end of their duty.
2. Ensure that Isotrak, Business Asset Tracker and Vision FTA, the system we use to record our HGV drivers hours is kept up to date and data correctly input daily in order to ensure that we comply with European Legislation.
3. Issue vehicle keys and logbooks in line with Royal Mail standards.
4. Ensure digital tacho cards are downloaded in line with Royal Mail policy.
5. Daily debrief to be carried out with all drivers, any unresolved issues to be passed onto shift manager.
6. Ensure planned maintenance is carried out for vehicles and that the maintenance board and vehicle files are kept up to date.
In addition, the role will be required to cover additional admin duties as and when required.
As a Reserve Traffic Office Administrator you will need to be flexible as shifts are across a 24 hour period, this will be discussed further at the interview.
A bit about you
7. Organised, independent and able to adapt.
8. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
9. Able to input data to set deadlines whilst maintaining confidentiality at all time.
10. Previous experience in an administrator’s role is preferred.
11. You need to hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points for driving up to 3.5t vehicle (van) to take drivers to vehicle workshops to collect HGV vehicles.
